The Youth Ministry program is designed to offer a safe environment where students can build community and strengthen their Catholic faith with other teens. We provide service opportunities, weekly group activities such as Youth Group, Jesus N Java, our mid-week bible study, movie and game nights, along with off-site events such as, ski and camping trips, Laser tag, Steubenville San Diego retreats, and diocesan sponsored Youth Day. We encourage all students, including Confirmation candidates, to join us at our weekly youth group meeting held every Sunday night from 6:15pm-8:00pm in the lower level of the YFFO.
Youth Ministry takes the student beyond the parish community to diocesan involvement and even to the national and world levels. We strive to allow our youth ministry to become a parish-oriented, Christ-centered ministry for high school students.
Our hope for our youth ministry program is that teens will gain a greater understanding of who Jesus is, through developing and living as a Christian community.
