Santa Margarita Catholic High School’s Mission Statement reads:

Santa Margarita Catholic High School endeavors to bring the person and teaching of Jesus Christ to this time and place under the direction of the Bishop of Orange and in accordance with the magisterium of the Catholic Church. We strive to emulate the accepting and nurturing way that He taught us; to have faith in the Father; to demonstrate a loving respect for people; to seek opportunities to help rather than judge; to be open to the thoughts and ideas of each individual; and to desire service in the wider community. Within this framework, we are dedicated to working in union with families to provide excellent, holistic education. We are committed to the fullest development of the student religiously, morally, intellectually, physically, and personally.

Our object is to provide an effective college preparatory education for each of our students. In addition to excellence in the skills and abilities of the various arts and disciplines, we seek to develop in our students a positive sense of self-worth, self-discipline, personal responsibility, commitment, and a desire to lead.
